Date of Chaitra Navratri –
According to the Hindu calendar, this year Chaitra Navratri is starting from March 30, the same will end with Ram Navami on 6 April. On the first day of Navratri, the Hindu New Year will begin with the establishment of the Kalash and the festival of Gudi Padwa will also be celebrated on this day.
The Muhurta of establishing the urn on Navratri –
Pratipada Tithi starts on 29 March 2025 at 4.27 pm and this date will conclude on March 30 at 12.49 pm. The auspicious time of installation of Kalash will be from 6.13 am to 10:22 am. The same Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 12 noon to 12 noon. Establishing Kalash in the auspicious time gives special fruits of fasting worship.
