This miraculous temple of Maa Dhari is located 14 km away from Srinagar, Uttarakhand. According to reports, miracles are seen here every day. Here the idol of Maa Dhari changes its form three times a day. Here in the morning the idol of the mother looks like a girl and in the afternoon she transforms into a girl. In the evening this idol of Mata transforms into an old woman. Even the devotees are surprised to see this miracle of the mother. This scene is really shocking.
There is also a legend prevalent among the local people about this miraculous temple of Maa Dhari. Local people say that once the mother’s temple was washed away in a flood. Along with the temple, the idol of the mother was also washed away and stopped near a rock near Dharo village. It is said that a divine voice emanated from that idol, which instructed the villagers to install the idol at the same place. After this, the villagers followed the orders of Mata and built a temple of Mata there.
There is another story about Maa Dhari. It is said that in the year 2013, this temple of Mata was demolished and the idol of Mata was removed from its original place. People say that due to this there was a terrible flood in Uttarakhand that year. Thousands of people were killed in that flood. It is said that the idol of Dhara Devi was removed on the evening of 16 June 2013 and a few hours later disaster struck the state. After this the temple was built again at the same place.
