4. Sri Shila Mata Temple, Amer

5. Shri Chamunda Mata Temple, Mehrangarh, Jodhpur

Rao Jodha, the founder of Jodhpur city, bought a statue of his beloved Goddess Chamunda from the old capital of Mandore in 1460. The most ancient temple of mother in Jeenmata village on Sikar-Jaipur road in Shekhawati region is the main center of faith of devotees. According to beliefs, Jeen Mata was born in a royal family of Ghanghu village in Churu, Rajasthan. She is considered an incarnation of mother power and her elder brother Harsha is called the incarnation of Lord Shiva. According to the stories, once there was a dispute between the two siblings and the mother came to this place and started doing penance.

7. Arbuda Devi Temple, Shaktipeeth, Mount Abu
