How to worship Ahoi Ashtami
The first fast is resolved. Take karve for puja on this day. Karva is used in worship on this day also. Arghya is offered to the stars by filling a bowl with grains and the other with water. The curry is first colored with rice and turmeric. These should not be kept empty, tie a molly in them. A silver garland is bathed in milk and hung in a vase. Bayana is given to the mother-in-law and her blessings are taken. On this day Paitha is donated to a Brahmin.
