Akshaya Tritiya 2025: Plan to go to Mathura on this Akshaya Tritiya, then read the advisory of Bankebihari temple

Mathura, Amrit thoughts. Security has been tightened in temples in the wake of Akshaya Tritiya festival on 30 April in Mathura and extensive traffic arrangements have been made. Officials gave this information about security arrangements on Monday.

Mathura District Magistrate (DM) Chandra Prakash Singh said, “All possible efforts will be made for the convenience of smooth philosophy for devotees, without compromising on security.”

-The officers of the Nagar Corporation have been instructed to ensure continuous water supply and fans have been installed for relief from the heat.

-Chief Medical Officer (CMO) has been instructed to ensure 24 -hour medical facilities including availability of ambulances.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shlok Kumar said that adequate police arrangements have been made by dividing the area into 3 zones and 9 sectors. A detailed traffic plan has been prepared to ensure smooth movement of vehicles during the festival.

Gyanendra Kishore Goswami, the priest of Banke Bihari temple, said, “Devotees worship in the morning of Bihari Ji Maharaj in the lotuses and in the evening, which is a rare opportunity to be found once a year.” He said, “This day Banke Bihari Maharaj Pitambari (yellow dress) and anklets, this tradition was started by Swami Haridas.

This day in Radha Raman Temple in Vrindavan is a symbol of the beginning of a tradition, where the deity is given a new flower residence daily. Temple priest Dinesh Chandra Goswami said that the dress of the deity including dhoti, bagbandi, crown and flute would be made of sandalwood and ‘bhog’ will include cold fruits like melon and cucumber. Preparations for sandalwood paste for this event started fifteen days ago.

Bhagavatacharya Keshav Acharya stated the importance of Akshaya Tritiya and said, ‘According to Hindu mythology, the Treta Yuga started on this day. It is a day of sacrifice and the blessing on this day increases continuously. ‘ Pawan Kaushik, priest of Danaghati temple, emphasized the importance of this ritual and also mentioned the auspicious nature of worship during ‘Mangala Aarti’. Similar rituals will be performed in all the seven ancient Krishna temples of Vrindavan.
