Jammu. Four Amarnath passengers were marginally injured in a road accident on Tuesday in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir. Officials said that a bus on the Amarnath Yatra from Srinagar to Jammu collided with the wall of the parapet due to a brake failure on the T-2 tunnel seiri in Ramban, due to which four pilgrims were injured.
The police immediately took action and started the rescue operation with the local people and traffic policemen posted on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway and rushed the injured to the district hospital. He said that the condition of the injured is stable.
Ramban Deputy Commissioner Alayas Khan said, “The condition of all the injured passengers is stable and they have been allowed to visit Jammu.” He informed that traffic is running smoothly on the national highway.
