Anant Chaturdashi 2024: Anant Chaturdashi falls in the month of Bhadrapada. Anant Chaturdashi has special significance in Hinduism. This day is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Method of worship of Lord Vishnu- Lord Vishnu is worshiped on the day of Anant Chaturdashi. Worship is done with Panchamrit, seasonal fruits and Tulsi leaves with full rituals. Anant Chaturdashi is celebrated on the Chaturdashi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada. It is also known as Anant Chaudas. This festival is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. By keeping a fast on this day, the Anant form of Lord Vishnu is worshiped. With this, the Ganesh festival which lasts for ten days also ends on this day. However, different Puja committees perform Ganpati immersion as per their convenience. Ganesh immersion is done on Anant Chaturdashi.

Pandit Tarun Jha said that the fast and worship of Anant Chaturdashi, which is dear to Lord Vishnu, Vishwakarma Puja and Ganpati immersion will also be on Tuesday. He said that reciting the Sahasranaam of Lord Vishnu on the day of Anant Puja is considered very auspicious. The 14 knots of Anant are considered to be the symbol of 14 worlds.
According to Drik Panchang, the Chaturdashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month is starting on 16th September at 03:10 pm. It will end on 17th September at 11:44 pm. The auspicious time for Anant Chaturdashi Puja on this day will be from 06:07 am to 11:44 pm, the total duration of which will be 05 hours 37 minutes.
Method of worship of Lord Ganesha
1- Take bath and clean the temple
2- Salute Lord Ganesha
3- Anoint Lord Ganesha with Panchamrit and Gangajal
4- Now offer yellow sandalwood and yellow flowers to the Lord
5- Light a ghee lamp in the temple
6- Recite Shri Ganesh Chalisa
7- Do the Aarti of Lord Ganesha with full devotion
8- Offer the Prasad
9- Finally, ask for forgiveness
