Another major achievement of the Yogi government, three districts of UP participated in the country's Top Destination

Lucknow, Amrit thoughts. The central government conducted a survey of 352388 devotees from India as well as 45 countries in Mahakumbh. In the survey, tourists chose Sangam in Ayodhya, Varanasi and Prayagraj as the top destination of the country. It was also revealed that domestic and foreign devotees coming to Prayagraj during the fair spent an average of Rs 5877.63. Thus Mahakumbh contributed significantly to the GDP of Uttar Pradesh. This information was given in a survey by Messrs Dillyat.

Actually, Mahakumbh Spiritual Survey-2025 was conducted by the Government of India. Its purpose was to find out the top destinations of the country so that necessary development could be done there. In this sequence, a survey was conducted by All India Institute of Local Self Governance AIILSG at other places including Telierganj, Jhunsi, Arail, Parade Ground in Prayagraj between 28 January and 26 February.

The survey was attended by 1093 tourists from 45 countries including USA, UK, Canada, Nepal, Australia, Fiji, while 351295 tourists from India participated. In this, 27.32 percent in the last visitedplace from it described Ayodhya, 22.68 percent Sangam Prayagraj and 8.81 percent people described Varanasi. In the upcoming tour, 32.57 percent selected Sangam Prayagraj, 12.46 percent selected Ayodhya and 7.46 percent elected Varanasi.

Priority given to Mahakumbh tour

According to the survey, domestic tourists preferred the visit to Mahakumbh with domestic tourists while foreign tourists alone. According to the survey, 40 percent of Indian families, 30.88 percent alone, 29.13 percent with friends while 55.26 percent foreign tourists alone came to visit with 24.43 percent family, 20.31 percent with friends. Tourists spent 41.11 percent on travel, 16.64 percent on stay, 11.24 percent on catering, 11.08 percent in procurement of religious materials, 2.13 percent on entertainment, 7.42 percent on shopping and 10.38 percent on others.
