Moharram’s moon will be seen on 26 June
Shia and Sunni moon committees will see the moon of Moharram on 26 June. If the moon is seen, then the first Moharram will be on 27 June, otherwise Moharram will start from June 28. Moharram is celebrated in memory of the martyrs of Karbala. In Lucknow, the first Moharram, 7 and 8 Moharram and 10 Moharram take out big processions. Preparations for Moharram in the old city have started loudly. The work of making Zarih, Taji and Mimber is going on fast.
Majlis from first to 9 Moharram in Imambara Taki Saheb
Syed Sajid Abbas Naqvi, secretary of Jannat Mab Society, said that like every year, the process of Majlis will continue from the first to 9 Moharram in the Imambara Syed Taki Sahib Akbari Gate behind the mosque of Tehsin. There will be Majlis daily from the first Muharram to the ninth Muharram at 9 am. Which Maulana Syed Saif Abbas Naqvi will play the title.
Syed Sajid Abbas Naqvi said that on the 5th of Moharram, Hazrat Aun and Muhammad’s coffin will be respected. 6 Muharram will have the coffin of Hazrat Ali Akbar. Similarly, the scene of Nikah of Janabe Qasim will be presented on 7 Moharram. 8 Moharram will be given the Ziyarat of Alm-e-Hazrat Abbas and 9 Moharram will be taken out of Hazrat Imam Hussain. On this occasion, the swing of Ji Hazrat Ali Asgar will be given.
