Gupta Navratri will begin from the Shukla Paksha Pratipada date of Ashada month. This year, the worship of nine forms of Mother will begin on Gupta Navratri from Thursday 26 June. Till 04 July, there will be especially tantric practice, special rituals and secret worship on Gupta Navratri. During the Gupta Navratri, many seekers worship Mahavidya Tantra Sadhana, while others will worship nine forms of mother Adishakti for a full nine days by law.
Jyotishacharya Pt. Manoj Kumar Dwivedi said that Vasant and Sharadiya Navratri are for householders and common people but Gupta Navratri is taken to saints and seekers. This is the Navratri of Sadhana, not a festival. Therefore, special worship and practice are important in it. This Navratri is for the accomplishment of Tantra-Mantra for special desire. In Gupta Navratri, special worship can lead to many types of sorrows. Aghor Tantric people worship to prove Mahavidyas in Gupta Navratri.
