Bhelsar/Ayodhya, Amrit Vichar. The historical Ramlila was staged by the Ramlila Committee in Rudauli on the fifth day of Ram’s departure and Dashrath’s death. With this information, a festive atmosphere was created in the whole of Ayodhya and all the people of Ayodhya were shown happy.
On the request of the gods, Mother Saraswati confused the intellect of Kaikai’s maid Manthara by sitting on his tongue. Ram ji requests to cross the river, but the boatman says yes but does not go further. When Shri Ram introduced himself to the boatman, the boatman ran away.
It is said that you are the same Ram by whose touch the rock became a woman. God, my boat is made of wood, if I become a woman or change my mind then how will I be able to support my family? On this, Lord Shri Ram understands the feelings of the boatman and explains that after this the boatman should wash his feet. The Lord embraces the boatman and moves forward in his boat to help him cross the river and sings ‘Meri Naao Mein Sitaram Nadiya Dheere Bahaon’, a bhajan the audience likes very much.
