Ayodhya, Amrit Vichar: On the occasion of Paush Purnima, a large number of devotees took bath in Saryu from Brahmamuhurta in Ayodhya and earned charity after worshiping in other temples including Ram Janmabhoomi, Nageshwar Nath, Kanak Bhawan. There is a festive atmosphere in all the temples here regarding Pratistha Dwadashi. The devotees coming from far and wide were overwhelmed to see the arrangements and facilities here and praised the Yogi government and raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram.
There was an influx of devotees in Ramnagari on the third and last day of the first anniversary of Ramlala’s death. Since morning, Jai Shri Ram was being chanted from the banks of Saryu till the Ram temple. On the occasion of Paush Shukla Purnima, where a large number of devotees were seen taking bath on the banks of Saryu, on the other hand a large number of devotees visited the Ram temple and took blessings.
Ramlala’s chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das told that with the beginning of Surya Uttarayan and the day of the gods, auspicious works will also start. On this occasion, bathing in the holy Saryu in Ayodhya brings virtue. By taking bath in Mokshadayini Saryu, the sins of many births are washed away. Salvation is attained.
