The forecasts of the year 2030 are of great possibilities. Ayodhya, the birthplace of Shri Ram, Radhakrishna’s birthplace and Karmasthali Brajbhoomi, Tirathraj Prayag, Shiva’s Kashi, all the major places associated with Lord Buddha, who published the world with the message of peace and non -violence, are more likely in tourism due to Kushinagar, Sarnath, Kapilavastu.
According to WTTC, the year 2025 records can be done for the country in terms of tourism. Due to this, the contribution of this sector in the country’s economy can reach Rs 22 lakh crore. The number of employers can exceed 48 million. According to the forecast of the year 2030 for India from the institution, the contribution to the economy from tourism will increase to 42 lakh crores and employment will increase to 64 million.
The new land mark is making the figure of 2025
The figures of 2023 and 2024 also say the same. According to the data, the number of tourists visiting Ayodhya in 2023 was 5.76 crore, which increased to 16.44 crores in 2024. Meanwhile, this increase in Kashi from 10.18 crore to 11 crore, Mathura from 7.79 crore to 9 crores. 5.12 crore tourists came to Prayagraj as compared to 5.06 crores. The Mahakumbh held in Prayagraj in 2025, in order of reversal flow, will create a new land mark from here due to the devotees going to the pilgrimage and Shaktipeeths of Ayodhya, Kashi, Braj region. A total of 66.30 crore tourists, devotees came to Mahakumbh itself. This gave the state’s economy more than Rs 3 lakh crore.
Yogi government leads to attract tourists
The Yogi government is also developing other places important in terms of tourism including major pilgrimage sites by creating corridors, development councils and circuits. It is developing 272 routes connecting religious places at a cost of Rs 4560 crore. Hellyport service has started in many places. Shri Ayodhya Ji Tirtha Vikas Parishad, Shri Devipatan Tirtha Vikas Parishad, Uttar Pradesh Braj Tirtha Vikas Parishad, Shri Vindhya Dham Tirtha Vikas Parishad, Shri Chitrakoot Dham Tirtha Vikas Parishad, Naimisharanya Dham Tirtha Vikas Parishad, Uttar Pradesh Shri Venus Tirtha Vikas Parishad are becoming new records.
Circuit made to promote tourism
For employed development, the Yogi government has made circuits for different tourist places. Among them, Ramayana, Mahabharata Buddhist, Shaktipeeth, Jain, spiritual, Krishna Braj, Sufi Kabir are important in religious terms. Apart from this, there are also adventure, Bundelkhand and Wildlife Eco Tourism Circuit for Eco Tourism, who became the choice of people in recent years. There is also a craft circuit to promote the highly rich tradition of the state through tourism. They have been provincialized to increase the attraction of major fairs.
