Amrit Vichar, Lucknow: Bahula Chaturthi fast will be observed on Bhadrapada month Krishna Paksha Chaturthi Tuesday. It is also called Bol Chauth and Sankashti Chaturthi. These women do to protect children and prosperity. Jyotishacharya SS Nagpal told that Chaturthi Tithi will be on Tuesday from 8:40 am on Wednesday from 6:35 am. In the fast, evening Vyapini Chaturthi date is taken, so the fast will be kept on Monday.
Women will fast throughout the day and worship cow and calf from 6:50 to 7:16 pm in the evening. Consuming items made from cow’s milk is prohibited. The moonrise will be at 8:59 pm. It is believed that on this day Lord Krishna had told the importance of worship of cows and said that it brings wealth and child happiness.
