Barabanki, Amrit Vichar. On the second day of Navratri, Brahmacharini Devi, the second form of Goddess Bhagwati, was worshipped. Along with Kalash puja, Durga Saptashati was recited in homes. There was a huge crowd of devotees for darshan in the temples of Adishakti, Ujali Devi of Fatehpur, Badi and Chhoti Devi of the city and other goddess temples. Along with the Vilva invitation and call, Sanatan Dharma people started reciting Durga Saptsati at some places and Sahastranam at some places by lighting the Akhand Jyoti. From homes to Devi temples, the enthusiasm of devotees for Navratri worship was worth seeing. Chanting of mantras continued throughout the day along with bells and gongs in the temples.
The second form of the Goddess was worshiped on the second day of Shardiya Navratri. Due to establishment of Kalash in most of the Sanatani families, many priests had to invoke Maa Durga at three to four places of worship. Kalash has been established in homes also by women after fasting for nine days. This time there is a competition for Navratri rituals to get rid of the obstacles of fear. In the morning, the temples have been decorated with flowers, rangolis and various types of turmeric, sandalwood, Swastika and Om symbols. Red chunari and various types of offerings are being offered to the mother.
On the first day, the temple of Ujali Mata located at Mahadev Talab in Fatehpur town was decorated grandly by the servants. A large number of devotees are also attending the Aarti being held late in the evening. These include everyone from children to elderly people. Mother Brahmacharini is also called the goddess of restraint. It is believed that by worshiping this form of the Goddess, a person attains penance, renunciation, renunciation, morality and restraint. Mother Brahmacharini has a rosary in her right hand and a kamandal in her left hand. On the other hand, Maa Durga established in puja pandals is being worshiped by the devotees. After the morning Aarti puja, competitions are also being organized by the organizers along with Jagran, Jawi Kirtan, Bhajan etc. till late evening.
