Barabanki News: City Kirtan procession taken out on Guru Gobind Singh Prakashotsav

Barabanki, Amrit Vichar: Girls and children sweeping the floor, Panjpyares carrying open sabers wearing blue turbans with yellow clothes, flowers being showered on the way, royal palanquin passing between the stunts, echoing messages and stunts. Such a scene was seen in the procession that took place in the city. On reaching the Gurudwara late in the evening, the atmosphere was fragrant with the shower of flowers on the royal palanquin of Guru Granth Sahib. On behalf of the Gurdwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha Management Committee located in Lajpatnagar, a city kirtan procession and procession was taken out in the city on Saturday afternoon to commemorate the birth anniversary of the tenth Guru of the Sikhs, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj. Under the leadership of Panjpyars, the royal procession of Guru Maharaj started from the Gurudwara premises and reached back to the Gurudwara premises via Begumganj, Chhaya Chauraha, Rajkamal, Idgah, Satti Bazaar, Ghantaghar, Dhanokhar, Niblet Tiraha. Punjabi Orchestra from Nautwa, Patvinder Singh from Ludhiana and Sangat from Lucknow performed kirtan throughout the procession. Small children enthralled people by wearing Sikhi attire. Women were sweeping in front of Guru Maharaj’s royal carriage decorated with flowers, while children, girls and women were walking showering flowers. The procession was welcomed by devotees at every place.

Sardar Jasbir Singh, MLA Suresh Yadav were present at Chhaya intersection. In Satti Bazaar, business leader Vinod Gaba, BJP District President Arvind Maurya, Ram Kumari Maurya, Charanjit Gaba, Mintu Gaba welcomed the Shobha Yatra. Municipality Chairman Sheela Singh, former block chief Surendra Verma, Dinesh Vaish, Pankaj Gupta Panki were present at Dhanokhar to welcome. At the conclusion of the procession, people of all religions sat together and tasted langar. After that grand fireworks were done in the Gurudwara premises. On this occasion, Pradhan Sardar Bhupendra Singh, business leaders Sardar Charanjit Singh, Sardar Jasbir Singh Vicky, Sumitra Kaur, Ranjit Kaur, Narendra Kaur, Surjit Kaur, Inderjit Kaur and Kawaljit Kaur and others were present.
