Mahadeva Marg’s standardless interlocking again sunk
Lodheshwar Mahadeva is not removing the serious flaws of interlocking made during road widening. The interlocking made on both sides of the Suratganj Mahadeva road was damaged in the first rain. After the news was published in the newspapers, departmental officials got the contractor repaired. But on Wednesday, interlocking again collapsed in the slight rains. The interlocking has become hollow due to the flow of the soil under the road. Due to this, questions are being raised on the functioning of the Public Works Department. The fair of Shravan month is going to start from July 11. During this time lakhs of devotees will come here from far and wide. Small and big vehicles stand on the roadside in the fair. There is a danger of accident due to poor interlocking. If repair is not done in time, a major accident can happen.
