Ramakant Dixit, resident of Suresh Sharma Nagar, said that according to the Panchang of Kashi, this time the arrival of Mata Rani will be on a palanquin and departure on an elephant. Both of these are not auspicious.

Sharadiya Navratri will begin on October 3 from Ashwin Shukla Pratipada. The auspicious time for Kalash Sthapana is from 6:07 am to 9:30 am. Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 11:37 am to 12:23 pm. Kalibari Temple priest Pt. Brijesh Gaur said that the Navratri fast will end on October 12 at Udaykalin Dashami. The installed idols of Durga will be immersed by evening.
