Basti News: Descendants of Chitragupta worshiped Kalam Davat in Basti Mandal, know what is the belief

Settlement. In the three districts of Basti Mandal in Uttar Pradesh, Basti, Siddharthnagar and Satankbirnagar, on Sunday, Chitra Gupta descendants, after worshiping their deity Lord Shri Chitragupta on Yama Dwitiya, worshiped the pen and ink stick as per the rituals.

Giving this information here, Chitragupt descendant Alok Kumar Srivastava, resident of Bhanpur Rani village, has told that in all the three districts of Basti division, Basti, Siddharthnagar and Satankbirnagar districts, Chitragupt descendants had stopped writing with pen since the evening of Chhoti Diwali, this time two Today at the end of the day, after worshiping your deity Lord Chitragupta and worshiping your pen (pen), write with your pen using new home made rice flour pen, pen, fara, curd bakheer and drinking water. Have started.

In normal circumstances, Chitragupta descendants stop writing completely after Chhoti Diwali and the work of writing remains closed until the puja is done. On this day, everyone garlands the picture of Lord Chitragupta and performs aarti and apologizes for their mistakes.

This tradition has been going on for ages, which we worship with full rituals. Today is the festival of Bhaiya Dooj. The festival of Bhaiya Dooj is a symbol of immense love and dedication between brother and sister. On this day, married women invite their brothers to their home and feed them after applying tilak.

At the same time, brothers and sisters living in the same house sit together and eat food on this day. It is believed that on the day of Bhai Dooj, if brothers and sisters sit on the banks of Yamuna and eat together, then it is very auspicious and beneficial. This festival, which comes two days after Diwali, is also called Yama Dwitiya.

There is also a tradition of worshiping Yama, the god of death, on this day. They are also worshiped with rituals. Bhandara will also be organized in the evening in the Chitragupt temple complex located at Basti and Siddharth Nagar district headquarters, in which a large number of Chitragupt descendants as well as people from different sections of the society will participate.
