On the day of Bhanu Saptami, wake up early in the morning and take bath, after which wear clean clothes. Now look at the rising sun with full devotion. Then mix water and some Ganga water in the copper pot. After this, mix jaggery and offer Arghya to Lord Suryadev. During this, chant the mantra of Lord Suryadev “Om Ghriniah Suryay Namah”. According to religious beliefs, if Arghya is offered to the Sun God on this day, the God becomes pleased and blesses him quickly.
