Lucknow, Amrit thoughts. The Haj Committee of India has issued an advisory of Haj-2026, changing the rules of Haj. According to this advisory, children up to 12 years of age and people suffering from serious diseases will not be able to go on a handicraft.
In fact, the Saudi Arabia government has stopped Haj for children below 12 years of age, so the Haj Committee of India has said that children up to 12 years of age and people suffering from serious diseases should not apply for Haj. Severe diseases include cancer, TB, kidneys and respiratory patients.
According to the Haj Committee of India, if the applications of children between the ages of 12 to 18 years have come with the parents, then they will be accepted, but if an applicant of 18 years is applying to go to Haj alone, then he will have to get permission from his parents or legal parents.
State Haj Committee Secretary SP Tiwari said that according to the policy of Haj-2026, through the Haj Committee, a person can apply for Haj pilgrimage only once in life, but elders over 65 years of age can apply for Haj.
