Reasi, Amrit thoughts: On the beginning of Chaitra Navratri festival, a large crowd of pilgrims thronged the Mata Vaishno Devi temple on the Trikuta hills of Jammu and Kashmir. Officials said that to prevent any untoward incident, ‘AI-Saksa CCTV cameras’ and drones are being monitored on the base camp and route of the building and strict security arrangements have been made. On Saturday, 48,000 pilgrims visited the holy cave temple, while long queues were seen from the base camp to the temple on Sunday.
Anshul Garg, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board said, “I congratulate the pilgrims on the occasion of Chaitra Navratri. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the pilgrims from Katra to the building. There has been a significant increase in the number of pilgrims. Long queues from Katra to building are visible. ”He said that security and mob management teams have been deployed on the route from Katra to Bhawan to ensure uninterrupted journey. The Shrine Board, which manages the journey, has taken a new initiative to make the pilgrimage easier for the devotees. Many devotees said that they are happy with the arrangements made by the board.
Amit Sharma of Delhi said, “On the first day of Navratri, we are feeling blessed by worshiping in the cave temple. Although there is some difficulty due to the huge crowd, when you experience the beauty of environment and spirituality in the building, everyone forgets. ”Praising the board’s arrangements, the devotee Sudhakar Kadam, a resident of Pune, said that coming here on the first day of Hindu New Year and Navratri is like a dream is like a dream.
