Chanakya Niti: Acharya Chanakya has written a book called Chanakya Niti. By following the policies mentioned in Niti Shastra, many difficulties can be easily faced. Acharya Chanakya has stated in one policy that Goddess Lakshmi herself comes and resides in places where people keep a proper distance from fools and there is love in the family. Read the shloka mentioned in Niti Shastra and its meaning in which it is told in which places Goddess Lakshmi herself comes and resides-
Verse- Foolish Yatra Na Pujyante Dhaanyam Yatra Susanchitam. दम्पत्ये कलहो नास्ती तत्र श्री: स्व्यमागता॥
The meaning of the shloka mentioned in Niti Shastra is- where fools are not worshipped, where food grains are stored in large quantities, not even a single grain of food is wasted. Where there is no quarrel or fight between husband and wife, Goddess Lakshmi herself comes and resides in such a place.
According to Chanakya, the meaning of this shloka is that the country or the citizens who respect the virtuous people instead of the foolish people, store food grains properly in their storehouses, where there are no fights and quarrels among the people in the household, there is no disagreement, the wealth of such people increases.
Chanakya believes that those who give more importance to fools and serve them, never achieve success. They always remain unhappy in life. Where wealth is insulted, it is not stored. In the house where husband and wife keep fighting with each other over small things, that is, in the house where there is always conflict, Goddess Lakshmi does not reside there. Maintain love in the family, only then life can be happy.
