Astrology News Desk: There are many fasts and festivals in Sanatan Dharma and all have their own significance but Chhath Puja is considered very special which is a fast of 36 hours. Chhath fast is considered the most difficult. In Chhath Puja, it is very important to follow the rules along with cleanliness. This festival lasts for three days. During this time, devotees worship Chhathi Maiya and Lord Suryadev duly. According to the Panchang, Chhath Puja has started from Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month i.e. 5th November and this fast will end on Ashtami i.e. 8th November.

Offer this offering to Chhathi Maiya-
Let us tell you that on the first day of Chhath Puja, gourd and gram vegetable and raw rice rice is prepared on Nahay Khay which is offered to Chhathi Maiya. On the second day i.e. in Kharna Puja, Kheer made of milk, rice and jaggery is prepared which is taken as Prasad along with the fasting person by the family members.
