According to the Hindu calendar, the Dwitiya Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month starts at 2.33 minutes on Saturday afternoon, which will end at 4.58 minutes on Sunday, 16 March. The sunrise of the same Dwitiya Tithi will be on 16 March. Therefore, Chitragupta Puja will be done on this day.
The auspicious time for worshiping Lord Chitragupta is from 9.36 am to 11:6 pm on March 16. The second Muhurta from 12 noon in the afternoon to 12 to 59 minutes. The third Muhurta will be from 2:4 pm to 3:33 pm. Apart from this, in the evening it will be from 6.32 pm to 8.3 pm.
