Lucknow, Amrit Vichar: Communication Green Corridor will be prepared in Mahakumbh-2025. For this, an MoU was signed between the Director of Police Radio Headquarters and IIIT Allahabad on Monday. With new technical equipment, arrangements for strong communication will be made by surveying the VHF communication network and marking black spots.
To ensure strong arrangements in Mahakumbh-2025, discussions were held with the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT Allahabad) on Monday at Police Radio Headquarters, Lucknow. In this context, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Police Radio Department and the Indian Institute of Information Technology. On behalf of UP Police, an MoU was signed between Director General of Police, Telecommunication Dr. Sanjay Tarde and Director of IIIT Allahabad, Dr. Mukul Satawne. At the time of signing of the MoU, many officers including IG/Director Police Telecommunication Sunil Kumar Singh, DIG Raghavendra Dwivedi were present.
Will strengthen communication system by identifying blackspots
According to ADG Telecom Dr. Sanjay Tarde, the objective of the agreement is to prepare a communication green corridor by IIIT for organizing the grand and divine Mahakumbh-2025. Validation of VHF communication installation, survey of VHF communication network with new technical equipment, identifying black spots and making better communication arrangements. IIIT Allahabad will help in providing seamless communication with the help of advanced communication technology. If needed, training will also be conducted by IIIT Allahabad to overcome soft skills and technical problems.
