Chamoli. More than 30 thousand passengers have reached Hemkund Sahib by Wednesday in the first eight days in the first eight days. This holy gurudwara, situated at an altitude of more than 15,000 feet in the lap of the Himalayas, has unwavering reverence and faith in this holy gurudwara. Pilgrims are bathing in the holy lake between the cold weather and snowy winds. In the last eight days, the number of pilgrims in Sri Hemkund Sahib has set a new record. During this time more than 30,000 devotees have seen the gurudwara.
Giving information, Narendra Jeet Singh Bindra, president of Shri Hemkund Sahib Management Trust, said that the faith enthusiasm in the Hemkund Sahib Yatra is undoubtedly notable. He said that he met Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand Anand Vardhan and informed about the progress of the visit of Hemkund Sahib. He emphasized the need for the construction of a permanent bridge at Govindghat for the Hemkund Sahib visit and said that permanent pull at Govind Ghat has been announced by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
He said that due to the construction of permanent bridges in Govind Ghat, the journey will be more secure and smooth. He thanked the Chief Minister for approving the construction of two new halls for pilgrims at Hemkund Sahib Yatra Padav Ghangharia. He appreciated the Chamoli district administration and the state administration for the cooperation facility in the Hemkund Sahib Yatra and said that due to his active role and dedication, the yatra is able to be easily and safe every year due to his active role and dedication.
The administration has made extensive arrangements to ensure security, housing and other necessary facilities on the travel route, including special teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Anti -Terrorism Squad (ATS) and Bharat Tibet Seema Bal (ITBP), which are deployed at major stops of the travel route.
