Mahakumbhnagar. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh took a holy dip in the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and invisible Saraswati on Saturday afternoon on the occasion of Prayagraj Mahakumbh and after offering prayers as per rituals, wished for happiness and peace in the country. During his one-day visit to Prayagraj, Rajnath Singh reached Sangam bank as per pre-determined schedule where
After bathing, he worshiped Mother Ganga with flowers, coconut etc. and performed the aarti. MP Sudhanshu Trivedi was also with him on this occasion. Shri Singh will meet saints and mahatmas in Mahakumbh area. In the evening he will attend a marriage ceremony in Prayagraj after which he will leave for Jaunpur on Sunday. In view of the visit of the Defense Minister, tight security arrangements have been made in the Kumbh area.
