Worship like this on Dhanteras-
Let us tell you that on the auspicious day of Dhanteras, take bath etc. and wear clean clothes. After this, purify the place of worship with Ganga water. Now spread red clothes on a post and install the idols of Lord Dhanvantari, Mata Lakshmi and God Kuber. After this, apply a paste of ghee. Light a lamp and offer Akshat, Roli, red flowers. Now burn incense, then after offering food, perform the Aarti of Goddess Lakshmi. After this, recite Lakshmi Stotra, Chalisa and Kuber Stotra with devotion. It is believed that by worshiping Dhanteras in this manner, the Goddess Blessings remain and wealth increases.
Date and time of Dhanteras-
According to the Hindu calendar, the Trayodashi date of Dhanteras is starting on October 29 at 10:31 am and will end on October 30 at 1:15 pm. Dhanteras is celebrated on the same day on which Trayodashi Tithi gets Pradosh Kaal. This year, on Trayodashi Tithi, Pradosh Kaal will last from 5:38 pm to 8:13 pm on 29th October. In such a situation, the festival of Dhanteras will be celebrated on Tuesday, 29th October this year.
The first auspicious time for shopping on Dhanteras is from 6:31 am to 10:31 am the next day. The second auspicious time for shopping is from 11:42 am to 12:27 pm.
