Lucknow, Amrit Views: A case has been registered against Professor Ravikant of Lucknow University, Uttar Pradesh at Bamitha police station in Chhatarpur. This complaint has been lodged by Dhirendra Kumar Gaur, member of Bageshwar Dham Committee. It is alleged that the professor tarnished his image by calling Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham ‘women smuggler’ in a post on social media platform ‘X’ and hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindu community.
The dispute began when the Chhatarpur police investigated an ambulance, which had some women. Investigation revealed that these women were hiding in Bageshwar Dham and allegedly involved in unfair activities. The video of this incident went viral on social media. Sharing this video, Professor Ravikant wrote in the post, “The younger brother Dhirendra Shastri announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is involved in women’s smuggling in the name of religion.”

Charge of hurting religious sentiments
The professor’s remarks erupted controversy. Dhirendra Kumar Gaur lodged a complaint with the police, stating that this post not only damaged the reputation of Dhirendra Shastri, but also hurt the feelings of the followers of Hinduism. The police registered a case against the professor under Section 353 (2) of the Code of Justice of India (BNS).
Dhirendra Shastri rejected allegations
Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham shared a video on ‘X’, dismissing these allegations outright. He said, “Some people are plotting and are constantly trying to create a disturbance. We have started a campaign to unite the caste and Sanatanis in the country. Because of this some people are upset, but we are not going to stop.”

He further said, “As long as we are alive, no matter how many allegations are made, we will continue to serve Hinduism, Hindutva and Hindustan. We are born to protect the Sanatan Dharma. We will live for the Sanatan tradition and die for it. This is just the beginning, it is just the beginning, what people will say, what will be said any more people.
