What not to do on the day of Ganesh Visarjan?
While carrying the idol of Bappa during Ganesh Visarjan, one should keep in mind the direction. The face of the idol of Ganpati should be towards the house and the back of the idol should be outside the house. It is said that if the back of the idol of Ganpati is towards the house while carrying it, then one has to face poverty and the Lord also gets angry. Negative energy is transmitted.
If you are preparing bhog for Bappa on the day of Ganesh Visarjan at home, then make sure that garlic or onion is not used in the bhog. Satvik things are always offered as bhog.
If you are immersing the idol at home, then after immersing the idol, do not throw away the immersion water and the soil of the idol. You can pour the immersion water into plants and use the soil to grow plants.
Meat and alcohol should not be consumed on the day of Ganesh Visarjan. Consuming non-vegetarian food can make Lord Ganpati angry.
During Ganesh immersion, do not flow the idol in water at a fast speed.
Tulsi leaves should not be offered to Lord Ganesha. Therefore, Tulsi leaves should not be offered to Lord Ganesha even by mistake during the worship of Lord Ganesha.

Prepare Bappa’s offering only after taking bath.
Before Ganesh immersion, worship Ganpati with devotion.
Keep in mind the auspicious time during puja.
