Do not do these things on the day of Ekadashi-
Let us tell you that on the day of Vaikuntha Ekadashi, one should not allow negative thoughts to enter the mind and should keep distance from them. Apart from this, one should avoid lying on Ekadashi. One should not get angry as it is believed that doing so does not yield the results of fasting and worship. One should not consume meat, alcohol, garlic and onion on the day of Vaikuntha Ekadashi, doing so is considered a great sin and one should not argue or quarrel with anyone on this day. One should not insult anyone on the day of Ekadashi. One should avoid using abusive words on this day.
Date and time of Pausha Putrada Ekadashi-
According to the Hindu calendar, this time the Ekadashi tithi of Shukla Paksha falling in the month of Pausha is starting on January 9 at 12:22 pm and it will end the next day i.e. on January 10 at 10:19 am. In such a situation, according to Udaya Tithi, this time the fast of Pausha Putrada Ekadashi will be observed on 10th January.
On the day of Pausha Putrada Ekadashi, the Brahma Muhurta of worshiping Lord Krishna is from 5:27 am in the morning to 6:21 am. The Abhijeet Muhurta of worship on this day will be from 12:08 am to 12:50 pm. The same Ekadashi fast will be broken on 11th January. Its auspicious time is from 7.15 am to 8.21 am.
