Hanuman ji is known as the deity who defeats the crisis. They are also called by Bajrangbali, Pawanputra, Maruti and many other names. He is considered an incarnation of Rudravatar i.e. Lord Shiva. Hanuman ji is mentioned in ancient religious texts like Ramayana, Sri Ramcharitmanas and many other texts. In these texts, Hanuman ji describes an important role of removing the distress of Shri Rama and searching for Mother Sita. Along with this, Hanuman ji had a deep connection with the Sun God and he considered Sun God as his guru.
Maruti form in childhood
The story is that Hanuman ji was known as Maruti in childhood. Once, he considered Sun God as a fruit and went out to eat. During this time, the gods began to fear that if Maruti ate the Sun, then the Holocaust would come in the world. At that time the solar eclipse was taking place and Rahu came to eclipse the sun. Maruti injured Rahu with his mace, causing him to reach Indra Dev directly. Indra Dev attacked him to stop Maruti. Maruti’s chin became crooked due to this attack. He stopped his air flow due to Pawan Dev’s displeasure.
Immortality and boon
Seeing this state of Hanuman ji, Brahma ji healthy him and gave him a boon of immortality. Also provided blessings of security from fire, water and air. He was named ‘Hanuman’ as Maruti was crooked. Apart from this, Surya Dev gave Hanuman ji a boon of knowledge and conferred him with nine disciplines.
Education from Sun God
When Hanuman ji went to the Sun God to take education, the Sun God delayed his knowledge to test his knowledge Pipasa. Suryadev said that they continue to travel from east to west, so students and teachers cannot sit face to face. But Hanuman ji determined that he would take education only after the Sun God.
Surya Dev was pleased to see his dedication and he taught him. It is said that Hanuman ji used to walk at a fast pace like the chariot of Sun God so that he could get education. In this way, Hanuman ji not only gained intensive knowledge, but he also became a knowledgeable of nine disciplines.
