Don’t do these things on Ganesh Chaturthi-
The day of Ganesh Chaturthi is considered very auspicious. On such an occasion, one should not install an incomplete or broken idol of Ganpati in the house and neither should one worship it, it is considered inauspicious. Apart from this, one should not use Tulsi leaves or Ketaki flowers in the worship of Ganpati even by mistake.
Doing this does not yield the fruits of worship. The person fasting on the holy day of Chaturthi should remain pure in body and mind and follow celibacy. One should not consume tamasic things on this day even by mistake, otherwise Lord Ganesha may get angry. One should avoid getting angry on this day and also should not argue or fight, otherwise sin is committed and negativity is created in life.
