Eid-Aul-Azha 2025: On the occasion of Bakrid, the biggest animal market of UP will be set up at Haleem College Ground in Chamanganj from Monday. Farmers, traders from many districts and towns have started arriving for purchase and sale here.
On Sunday, traders from many towns and districts reached Haleem College with their animals but did not get permission to visit Haleem Ground, so that the animals are outside Haleem College. So far, a consignment of 500 animals has reached here. The Haleem Ground will be opened on Monday from the day itself. In Haleem College, animals have started selling on the occasion of Bakrid for the last five years, before the new road, Bakarganj, there used to be a market of goats at many places but now Haleem College has become the biggest market. All types of small animals are brought here.
Let us tell you that the festival of Bakrid will be celebrated on three days 7,8 and 9 June, in which animals will be sacrificed in the path of Allah on all three days. According to an estimate, 3.5 lakh animals will be sacrificed in their city on June 7, 2 lakh on June 8 and 80 thousand animals on 9 June.
Mass sacrifice will also be done
Mass sacrifices have been arranged in many areas of the city including Chamanganj, Jajmau, this collective sacrifice is for those who do not have enough money to buy any animals, so a large animal who sacrificed a collective sacrifice makes 7 people partners.
Namaz twice in Jama Masjid Shafiabad
Eid-ul-Azha prayers will be performed twice in Jama Masjid Shafiabad in Chamanganj. Sadar Javed Qureshi of arrangements Jama Masjid Shafiabad said that the first prayer will be held at 7 am on June 7 in Jama Masjid Shafiabad and the second prayer will be performed at 8.15 am.
