Lucknow, Amrit Views: The Islamic Center of India in Lucknow has issued 12 points for Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid). Bakrid will be celebrated on 7 June 2025 across the country. Maulana Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali, president of the Islamic Center, said that only the animals who do not have a legal ban.
There will be sacrifice on 7, 8 and 9 June
Maulana Farangi Mahali, Imam of Idgah, said that Kurbani is a Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim and Ismail and not any custom. This is an important prayer, and economically capable people must do it. The sacrifice can be done on 7, 8 and 9 June this year. It is mandatory to follow legal rules during sacrifice.
Do not sacrifice in the open, don’t put pictures on social media
Maulana advised only to sacrifice animals that do not have legal restrictions. Take special care of cleanliness during sacrifice. Do not sacrifice public places, open or roads. For this, use the prescribed slotter house or indoors. Do not share pictures or videos of sacrifice on social media.
Do not throw waste on the streets
Advisory states that animal remains should not be thrown in roads or public places after sacrifice. Put them in the dustbin of the municipal corporation. Maulana said that at the time of sacrifice, respect the religious sentiments of others. The festival means to take care of the convenience of others with its happiness.
Do not shed blood in drains
Maulana said that the blood of the animal animals in the drains is not appropriate according to religious beliefs. It should be buried in the soil. Pack the meat properly and share it in the open. One-third of the meat of the sacrifice should be divided into the poor and the needy.
Appeal of prayer for army and country
Maulana has appealed to Army soldiers, the progress of the country and pray for Palestine in the prayers of Bakrid. Also said that this advisory inspires everyone to celebrate Bakrid in a responsible and sensitive manner.
