On this day, devotees duly worship Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi and also fast throughout the day, according to the almanac, Ekadashi, which falls in the Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month every year, is known as Papamochani Ekadashi.
It is believed that by reciting worship and fasting on this day, the native gets freedom from the sins of birth and happiness remains prosperity with Vishnu grace. This year the fast of Papamochani Ekadashi will be observed on 25 March.

Do Tulsi Puja on Ekadashi
Get up early in the morning on the day of Papamochini Ekadashi and take a bath, etc., clean it thoroughly with Tulsi ji. Mata Tulsi should not be offered water even after forgetting on this day. Because on Ekadashi, Goddess Tulsi observes Nirjala fast for Lord Vishnu.
Light a lamp of ghee or oil near Mata Tulsi, offer turmeric and kumkum to them, then offer a chunri kalava, flower, panchamrit, sweets or fruits, after that ॐ Tulsiai Namah must chant this mantra at least 11 times. At the end of the puja, perform the Aarti of Mata Tulsi duly and then revolve around Tulsi seven times. Tulsi leaves should not be broken on this day. By doing this, the goddess can be angry.
