The circumambulation of Shivling has special significance in the worship of Lord Shiva. From which direction should Shivalinga be ordered?

Start the circumambulation only after offering water, belpatra, cannabis, dhatura on the Shivling.
There should be no negative thoughts or malice in the mind while orbiting.
