Do not offer white color to Bappa
Do not offer anything of white colour to Bappa. Like white flowers, white sacred thread, white sandalwood or white clothes.
Take special care of cleanliness
Before installing Ganesh Ji, it is necessary to clean the entire house. There should be no dirt anywhere in the house. Clean the place where Ganesh Ji is installed every day.
Keep distance from meat and alcohol
For whatever number of days you are installing Bappa in the house, do not bring meat and alcohol in the house and do not consume either of these things. Also, do not keep intoxicants at all. If they are kept, throw them out immediately. During this time, do not do any such work which hurts the Lord or which God dislikes.
Eat sattvik food
On Ganesh Chaturthi, purity is not only important for the place but also for the food. During this time, prepare only satvik food at home and offer the food to Bappa first. Offer Bappa 3 times a day. Take special care that Bappa is very fond of modaks, so definitely include modaks in his offerings.
Keep track of time
Lord Ganesha was born during the Madhyahna Kaal. That is why this time is considered more suitable for worshipping Ganesha.
