History: The history of the temple is about 400 years old. It is said that in the 17th century, the king of Mewar was bringing with him an idol of Lord Ganesha in a bullock cart. He decided that wherever the bullock cart would stop, he will build the temple. The bullock cart stopped at the foothills of Moti Dungri, and the temple was built there. The construction work of the temple was completed in 1761 under the direction of Seth Jai Ram Palliwal and Mahant Shiv Narayan.
