According to the Panchang, Ganga bath is taken every year on the full moon date of Kartik month. According to religious beliefs, worshiping Goddess Ganga and taking bath in Ganga frees one from all sins and attains salvation. According to the Panchang, this time Kartik Purnima is starting from 6:19 am on 15th November and it will end the next day i.e. on 16th November at 2:58 am. According to Udaya Tithi, Kartik Purnima i.e. bathing in Ganga will be done on 15th November.
The auspicious time for bathing and donating on 15th November is from 4.58 am to 5.51 am. The auspicious time for worshiping Satyanarayan is from 6:44 am to 10:45 am on 15th November. The time for worshiping the same God Diwali is from 5.10 pm to 7.47 pm.
