According to the Hindu calendar, the holy festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great pomp every year on the Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month.

Let us tell you that in the month of Bhadrapada, there is a ritual of worshipping Lord Ganesha from Ganesh Chaturthi to Anant Chaturdashi. The month of Bhadrapada is dedicated to Ganpati.

This year, the holy festival of Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated with great pomp across the country on 7th September, Saturday, i.e. tomorrow. On this day, the idol of Ganpati will be installed and a fast will be observed. Bappa’s farewell, i.e. Ganesh Visarjan, will take place on 17th September, Tuesday, on the day of Anant Chaturdashi. On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, worship Ganpati duly and do the miraculous recitation of Ganesh Stotra. It is believed that by doing this, the obstacles in life are removed and the grace of the Lord is showered and success is achieved in all works.
