Guru Gobind Singh's Prakash Utsav will be celebrated with pomp

Lucknow, Amrit Vichar: The Prakash Utsav of Guru Gobind Singh will be celebrated with reverence and respect on 5th and 6th January at Guru Singh Sabha Naka Hindola, DAV Inter College and Yahiya Ganj Gurudwara.

On January 5, Diwan will be decorated at Gurdwara Naka Hindola from 6.30 pm to 11 pm, in which after the recitation of Rahiras Sahib, Hazuri Ragi Rajinder Singh will sing Aarti and Shabad Kirtan. Giani Gurjinder Singh will lecture on the life story of Guru Gobind Singh. Kavi Darbar will be organized from 8 to 11 pm. In which cult poet Charanjit Singh Chan (Ludhiana), Engineer Karamjit Singh, Noor Pathak, Jamir Ali Jamir (Malerkotla), Dr. Hari Singh Jachak (Ludhiana), Sardar Rachpal Singh Pal (Jalandhar) will enthrall the gathering with their poems.

On 6th, Diwan will be decorated in Gurudwara Naka Hindola from 5 to 10 am. In which Shabad Kirtan of sacred Asa Ki Vaar will be sung by Sukhjit Singh Hazuri Ragi (Darbar Sahib Amritsar). After half an hour’s live telecast by Akashvani Lucknow, the devotees will take the ride of Guru Granth Sahib under the leadership of five beloveds on a palanquin in a decorated pandal at DAV Inter College, singing Shabad Kirtan. Specially arrived Ragi Arvinder Singh Noor (Hazuri Ragi Darbar Sahib Amritsar) will present a program of Shabad Kirtan and Giani Angrez Singh (Chief Granthi Gurdwara Sisganj Delhi) will present a program of story lecture.

In this program, children of Mata Gujri Satsang Sabha, Simran Sadhna Parivar will sing Shabd Kirtan which will continue till 4.30 pm. The evening program will start at 6.30 pm at Gurudwara Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Yahiya Ganj and will continue till 1.30 am. After the program of Shabd Kirtan Katha lecture, flowers will be showered on Guru Granth Sahib.
