Barabanki, Amrit thoughts: To express reverence, respect and gratitude to the Guru, how many days are available, but on the day of Guru Purnima, there is a tradition to seek blessings from the Guru and worship the Guru. Guru Purnima festival was celebrated with pomp across the district on Thursday with similar expressions dedicated to the Guru. Stores were organized everywhere, worshiped in schools and temples, along with everyone bowed to their guru in their own way.
Lakhs of devotees bowed at Baba’s tomb on the occasion of Guru Purnima at Taposthali Kotwadham of Samarth Swami Jagjivan Saheb Das, located in Kotwadham area. Jagjivan Saheb followers reached here from the corner of Lucknow, Sitapur, Lakhimpur, Balrampur, Shravasti, Ayodhya, Gonda and Bahraich. All BJP leaders including Minister of State Satish Chandra Sharma, MLC Angad Singh, District Panchayat President Rajrani Rawat and MLC Angad Singh took a bow and blessings in Baba’s court. After that, the Bhandare organized at the residence of Mahant Nilendra Bakhsh Das of Badi Gaddi. Thousands of devotees received offerings. Many dignitaries including Rajkumar Dixit, Durgesh Dixit, Saheb Prasad Yadav, Nagendra Pratap Singh and Mahant Deepak Das of Sardaha Dham were present in the program.

Devotees had to put several kilometers long lines due to excessive crowds and surroundings. Then went to see Baba Jagjivan Das. Thousands of people took Gurudiksha on Guru Purnima. Mahant Umendra Das, Neeraj Das, Anup Das, Avi Das, Mahant Vishal Das Soni of Chhoti Gaddi, Das Rajesh Das etc. reached the Mahants etc.
Programs were also held here: A huge bhandara was also organized in Kunteshwar Mahadev Temple Kintur. Thousands of devotees received offerings here. Thousands of people received offerings in the puja recitation and huge Bhandara program organized by Baba Balaram Das on Dulhadepur Kuti. Devotees who reached the hut received blessings from Baba Balaram Das. Apart from this, devotees took blessings of Guru by bowing their foreheads in the entire Devidas, the fourth Pava of the Satnami sect in Trivediganj. Mahant Nanh Bacha Sahab threaded hundreds of devotees and gave Gurmantra. At the same time, Baba Jayagurudev Sangat also organized a bhandare after worshiping the Guru. Devotees offered prayers at Gayatri Shaktipeeth located in Ramsanehighat Nagar Panchayat and devotees offered prayers in seven Kundi Gayatri Mahayagya.
Bhandara took place in Mahadeva Dham: Devotees received offerings at the Bhandara organized by Hariprasad Dwivedi, the monastery of Lodheshwar Mahadeva on the occasion of Guru Purnima. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, a bhandara was organized in the temple complex by the monastery receiver in Lodheshwar Mahadeva on Thursday. In which the regional people as well as the Mahadeva temple came to visit the puja. A large number of children, men and women Shiva devotees received Pudi vegetable Bundi Prasad. Similarly, a huge bhandara was organized at the conclusion of the Panch Kundiya Mahayagya and Deep Yagya running at the Gayatri temple in the town.
Bhandara took place on Hanumant Kutia: The festival of Guru Purnima was celebrated with pomp on Hanumant Kutia of Brahmalin Baba Premdas Maharaj. On this occasion, his disciples gathered in large numbers to worship Mahant 1008 Baba Lalta Das Maharaj. During this time a huge bhandara was also organized on the hut. Apart from this, Guru Purnima was also celebrated at many other places in the region including Baba Tikaram Dham.
Blessing taken from Guru Jan: On Guru Purnima, BJP District President Arvind Maurya reached Gurdwara in the city board and took blessings by presenting organ (Giani ji) by offering organ clothes. During this, he also performed Ardas in the gurudwara. During this, he was accompanied by Sardar Charanjit Singh, city president Suraj Singh and business leader Ravinan Treasurer and others.
Health Camp set up: Guru Purnima festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Shri Ram Van Kutir Ashram Haddikol. The doctors of Swami Vivekananda Poly Clinic Aurology Institute Lucknow distributed free OPD to thousands of people. Mahant Bhagwan Das of Disease Haran Shri Hanuman Temple threw light on Guru Glory.
