This year, the Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Paush month is starting on Sunday, 22nd December at 2:32 pm. This date will end the next day i.e. on Monday, 23rd December at 5.08 pm. The sunrise of Ashtami Tithi will be on Monday, 23rd December. Therefore, the festival of Hanuman Ashtami will be celebrated on this day.
According to religious beliefs, on the auspicious day of Hanuman Ashtami, wake up early in the morning and take bath etc. After this, go to the temple of Lord Hanuman and worship the Lord as per the rituals there. Worshiping Shri Ram Sita on this day is also considered beneficial.
