Prayagraj, Amrit Vichar: Sankat Mochan Bade Hanuman Ji Maharaj located in Sangam city Prayagraj was bathed by Maa Ganga, Yamuna and invisible Saraswati for the third time in July. On Wednesday morning, due to the increase in the water level of the confluence, the Deity of the elder Hanuman ji once again took a bath in the holy water. On this occasion, Mahant Balbir Giri Maharaj offered prayers to mother Ganga and Yamuna by worshiping with his disciples. After the puja, the doors of the temple were duly closed. A large number of devotees also arrived for darshan and blessings.
Faith related to reverence, auspicious signs for the country: Jagadguru Swami Anantacharya Amrit Das (Damoh) described it as a auspicious sign from a spiritual point of view and said that it will open the doors of progress and prosperity of the state and the country. Jagadguru Narayanacharya Shandilya Maharaj of Shringverpur Dham also considered it a symbol of prosperity.
Ganga-Yamuna close to danger
The risk of floods in Prayagraj has deepened due to continuous rains in various parts of MP, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The water of the Ganges-Yamuna has rapidly entered the tortured areas, causing an alert situation in the mohallas and villages. The famous Ganga Path is completely submerged in water. The administration has started patrolling by setting up 80 flood posts. NDRF and divers teams have also been deployed to deal with the possible disaster. The administration has appealed to the people living in low -lying areas to be vigilant and shift to safe places as soon as possible if needed.
