According to the Panchang, the Amavasya Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month is starting from 4:03 PM on 31st October and the Amavasya Tithi on 1st November will end at 5:38 PM and sunset will happen at 5:46 PM. The tradition of celebrating Diwali and worshiping takes place only at night. In such a situation, Amavasya is not being celebrated on 1st November but on 31st October and Diwali will also be celebrated on the same day.
Do not do these things even by mistake on Diwali-
Take special care of cleanliness on the holy day of Diwali. The house should not be left dirty on this day, otherwise Goddess Lakshmi does not enter the house and poverty and destitution reside in the house.
