Hartalika Teej fast is on September 6. On this day, women will observe Hartalika Teej fast for unbroken good fortune and happy married life. Pandit Saurabh Kumar Mishra of Jagannath Temple said that the Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month will begin on September 5 at 10:13 am. At the same time, this date will end on September 6 at 12:17 pm. In such a situation, Hartalika Teej fast will be observed on September 6. The auspicious time to worship on this day is from 6:02 am to 8:33 am. By worshipping in this Muhurta, the seeker will get double the benefits.
Nirjala fast is observed
Women observe a fast without water on this day and worship with devotion in the evening. Women stay fasting and worship Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva in the evening. Women offer the items of Suhaag to the Goddess. For Hartalika Puja, idols of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati and Lord Ganesh are made from sand and black clay. The place of worship is decorated with flowers and a platform is placed on it. Idols of the Shiva family are installed on the platform by placing banana leaves on it. Items of Suhaag are offered to Goddess Parvati and clothes to Mahadev. After the worship, the story is heard and Aarti is performed and Jagran is held at night.
Haritalika Teej puja method-
1. Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati are worshipped on Haritalika Teej.
2. First of all, make idols of all the three from clay and offer Durva to Lord Ganesha after applying Tilak.
3. After this, offer flowers, Belpatra and Shamipatti to Lord Shiva and offer makeup items to Mother Parvati.
4. After offering clothes to the three deities, listen or read the Haritalika Teej Vrat Katha.
5. After this, perform the aarti of Shri Ganesh and after performing the aarti of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati, offer the prasad.
