Now install the idol of Shiva and Parvati on an altar and worship the deity as per the rituals. Get Shiva bathed with Panchamrit. After this, apply white sandalwood tilak to Bholenath. Offer kumkum to Goddess Parvati and light a lamp of cow ghee.
Offer kheer. After this, offer a garland of hibiscus and white flowers. Also offer Belpatra to Lord Shiva and recite Shiva Tandav Stotra, Shiva Chalisa. Complete the worship with the Aarti of Lord Shiva. Be sure to ask for forgiveness from God for any mistakes made during worship. Break the fast the next day.
