Such people are not able to understand on which day they should celebrate Diwali. So today we will tell you which day is best to celebrate the festival of Diwali. You will also know the auspicious time of Lakshmi Puja.

Kalava, Roli, vermillion, a coconut, Akshat, red cloth, flowers, five betel nuts, cloves, betel leaves, ghee, Kalash, mango pallav for Kalash, Chowki, Samidha, Havan Kund, Havan materials, Kamal Gatte, Panchamrit. (Milk, curd, ghee, honey, Ganga water), fruits, sweets, sweets, puja seat, turmeric, incense sticks, kumkum, perfume, lamp, cotton, Aarti. If puja material includes thali kusha, rakt chandan, shrikhand chandan. Needed Lakshmi Ganesh should be worshipped.

When is Diwali in the year 2024?

According to the Hindu calendar, the festival of Diwali is celebrated every year on the Amavasya date of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month. This time Amavasya Tithi is starting on 31st October at 3:52 pm. Amavasya Tithi will end on 1st November at 5:13 PM. In such a situation, Diwali will be celebrated on 31st October only.

Why should Diwali be celebrated on 31st October?

Celebrating Diwali on 31st October will be more auspicious and fruitful. However, in many places the festival of Diwali will be celebrated on 1 November. Diwali should be celebrated on 31st October because there will be Amavasya in the night on this day. According to religious beliefs, on the night of Amavasya, Mother Lakshmi comes to earth and visits the homes of devotees.

Lakshmi Puja 2024 auspicious time

According to the Panchang, the Amavasya date of Kartik month will be from 3:52 pm on 31st October to 5:13 pm on 1st November. The best time for Lakshmi Puja on Diwali is after sunset in Pradosh Kaal and Sthira Lagna. All these auspicious times will be available on 31st October only.

First Muhurat of Diwali Puja: Pradosh Kaal – from 5:36 pm to 6:15 pm, Taurus Lagan Muhurat in Fixed Lagna – from 6:28 pm to 8:24 pm, Leo Lagan Muhurat – from 12:56 pm. Will last till 3:10 pm.
